Interactive Contrast Therapeutic Treatment Approach

In the simplest form, I utilize my academic training and clinical experience in neuropsychology, physiology, light therapies, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy, revising old thought processes for more productive), and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). Finally, knowing the importance of relationships, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is the most empirically validated and researched therapy for helping couples bond. Research studies find that upon completion of EFT therapy, 70-75% of couples move from conflict and tension to love and connection, and approximately 90% show significant improvements overall in their relationship over the long term.

If you have experienced relationship distress, EFT may be a good fit for you. EFT may be a good fit for you if you prefer a non-blaming type of couples counseling. In EFT you or your partner will not be diagnosed as “the problem” in your marriage.

Finally I have been open to the physically dynamic biohydrosonic tool: the human body.

I use Expressive Therapies, creativity combined with the unique ability of the heart to guide people into discovering both their deeper non-surface or superficial feelings, often the persona we have falsely created, to the wells of our heart-brains most profound intuitive and creative potential through meditational art therapy. I find huge success and enjoy integrating centering breathwork and journaling. All the while speaking with the intention to all known and felt issues of the group to move them into profoundly deep transformation - all the while they feel safe, secure and at peace mind and body during the process. Those who have experienced trauma appreciate this form of psycho-spiritual healing best, in my experience.

*Please be aware, I do not charge for the spiritual prayer.

What does this look like in context of the session ?

The sessions run for about 50-60 minutes. During which time, for my training in guidance, knowledge in the areas of addiction, marriage, anxiety, depression and family in the appropriate academic text: both sacred and research and academia in the clinical.

During this hour I seek to get relevant history, weekly updates on issues, homework/journal reviews, go over reflection on readings discussed, and any newly arising crisis'; these are a few of the topics reviewed in the session and in context of the faith.

I then extend my sessions beyond this initial time frame without financial charge, and only with permission of my clientele.

I then offer prayer in regard to their challenges reported in the form of traditional prayers and those for spiritual healing, always requesting the Holy Spirits intervention and those gifts for the person of faith to grow in their faith.

This usually extends the session anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, all with permission of my clients.

I follow the guidelines within the catechism pg 571, Section III 2121: Acts 8:9-24. cautioning against the spiritual practice of "Simony."

Simony defined: "taking for the gifts which are from God to the faithful for the building up for the body."

C. Catechism Article I - 2121 "simony", defined as the buying or selling of spiritual things."
